Stramin

Stramin is a canvas that is characterized by increased rigidity. Stramin is similar to a rigid and rare thread mesh. Most often used to create carpets and tapestries. Sometimes, due to its rigid structure, it can be used to make boxes or bags. More often, the size of a stramina cross is larger than that of another canvas, so they embroider on it with thicker threads. A hoop or machine is not needed here, the stramine holds its shape on its own.
Canvas is used to create works in the style of carpet technique. Large PVC cages create a solid base for work. Due to the natural color, the base is successfully hidden under the working threads.
